A Unique Contemporary Style

My residential studio is currently in Southeastern Michigan. The Great Lakes Region is my home of origin. I love the beautiful vibrant natural colors of the Fall, the full botanical ballet of Spring, the lush greens of Summer, and the crisp white serene presence of a fresh winter snowfall.

Originally located on the Caprock in West Texas. This community is the largest producer of cotton in the USA. Living here for 10 years inspired me to explore artistic challenges using organic materials indigenous to the environment.

I work in a variety of mediums: colored pencil, acrylic, collage using a variety of materials and yarn. Most of the art is made with yarn and acrylic as original 2-D art pieces. The focus is on creating one-of-a-kind contemporary mixed-medium paintings. All yarn used is 100% cotton grown in the USA. Artwork is created in smoke-free and pet-free environment.
